Trip Overview

Tsum valley is a Himalayan pilgrimage site situated in the northern part of the Gorkha that leads to the border with Tibet. This hidden secluded restricted area is home to the ancient Tibetan culture and religion inhabited by Tibetan people. The valley known as the “Beyal Kyimolung” the holy hidden of happiness, the first time described by Guru Rimpoche in the 18th century. As recorded in ancient history, Padmasambhava (Guru Rimpoche) refused to see when the earth was approaching destruction and the world became too corrupt to practice spiritual practices.

The term Tsum comes from the Tibetan words “Tsombo” whose people in Tsum valley have their own unique cultures, religious customs, traditions and still use their own dialect. People of this region reported that they had seen or found the Yeti or Abominable snowman. For anyone wishing to explore ancient Tibetan culture and Ancient Buddhist Monastery, Ama Adventure provides a relevant itinerary and a well-organized team for discovering this area.
