I recently had the pleasure of touring Nepal with Ama Adventure, a fantastic travel and trek agency based in Kathmandu. From start to finish, the hospitality, arrangements, and accommodations were simply excellent. Every detail was thoughtfully planned and seamlessly executed. A special mention goes to Goma Thapa, who is truly the heart and soul of Ama Adventure. She leads from the front with intelligence, charm, and an inspiring level of dedication. It’s clear that her smart and thoughtful approach is what makes everything run so beautifully. Goma’s personality leaves a lasting impression on tourists from all over the world — and I am no exception. As someone from India, I felt completely at home throughout my trip, thanks to the way Goma and her team took care of everything. She made sure every moment was memorable and comfortable. I can't recommend Ama Adventure highly enough for anyone looking to explore the beauty of Nepal with warmth and professionalism.

Hi I worked with three guides on my last trip to nepal in April may 2023. 1 of the 3 turned out to be an incredible guide, Goma Thapa. She is fluent in English, an author, and hold a masters degree in anthropology. She started out as a porter with 3 sisters in pokhara and started guiding in 2016. She is athletic, professional, and got me great rooms for good prices on my abc trek and ebc trek. I had even been airlifted early in my trip with another agency, and still She believed in me and took me carefully and believed in me. She helped me dig deep and have a life changing experience. Be careful when choosing a guide because a lot of them drink or don't speak English very well. She understands western culture and is a world class guide. She's the kind of person I want on all my dream expeditions, like patagonia and new zealand. I'm hopi g she's available to lead a hike for me this fall 🤞 I will be happy to answer more qs for you if it helps
