From Dhulikhel, soar toward the world’s highest peaks on a private helicopter to Everest Base Camp. The flight passes over glaciers, deep valleys, and towering ridgelines before landing at Kala Patthar for a sweeping 360-degree view of Mount Everest and its neighboring giants. You’ll then stay at Hotel Everest View, one of the world’s highest luxury hotels, perched above Namche Bazaar.

The adventure continues on foot as you hike to Khumjung and explore Namche, the heart of Sherpa culture. Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 m / 4,593 ft)

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, a representative from Ama Adventure will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Enjoy a welcome drink and settle in at the luxurious Dwarika’s Hotel. In the evening, your guide will meet you for a brief orientation about the trip.

Day 2: Swayambhunath tour and trip preparation

After breakfast, you will head towards Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple. Perched atop a hill overlooking the Kathmandu Valley, this ancient stupa is one of the most iconic landmarks of Nepal. Believed to have been self-created, it holds deep spiritual significance for both Buddhists and Hindus. From the top, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the valley, surrounded by prayer flags, shrines, and playful monkeys that give the site its nickname.

Day 3: Heli Flight to Dhulikhel (1,550 m / 5,085 ft)

This morning, board a short helicopter flight from Kathmandu to Dhulikhel, flying over green hills, rivers, and traditional villages. Day 4: Heli Flight to Everest Base Camp & Hotel Everest View (3,880 m / 12,729 ft)

Start your day with an unforgettable helicopter journey. You’ll fly past Namche Bazaar, Syangboche, and land at Kala Patthar, where you can enjoy panoramic views of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. After a short landing, return by heli to Syangboche and settle into Hotel Everest View.

Difficulty Level

This trip is easy and designed for travelers of all fitness levels. Light walking and sightseeing are included, and no prior trekking or hiking experience is required. Bring comfortable walking shoes and stay hydrated during the day.

Breakfasts are served daily at high-end accommodations in Kathmandu, Dhulikhel, and Syangboche. Throughout the trip, you’ll enjoy daily breakfast served at your luxury hotels and resorts. A special welcome dinner will be hosted at Dwarika’s Hotel in Kathmandu. A farewell dinner is included in Kathmandu, offering a taste of Nepal’s cultural and culinary heritage.

Weather Information

In Kathmandu and Dhulikhel, temperatures in the spring (March-May) range from 18°C to 26°C. During autumn (September-November), expect mild temperatures around 20°C to 24°C with clear skies. In the Everest region, daytime temperatures range between 10°C and 15°C, dropping significantly at night, especially at higher elevations like Syangboche and Kala Patthar, where it can go as low as -5°C to -10°C. Weather is generally stable and ideal for flying during these seasons.

  • Four-season sleeping bag (rated to 0°C or lower) – rental available
