Difficulty Level
This multi-country cultural tour across Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan is rated moderate and is suitable for travelers with a general level of fitness. While the trip does not involve physically demanding trekking, it includes long drives, flights over high terrain, and sightseeing at altitudes up to 3,660 meters. Some days involve extended periods of walking and exploration, so a basic level of stamina and comfort with altitude is recommended. No prior trekking or high-altitude experience is required.
Meals
During the trip, you will be served a mix of local and international cuisine depending on the country. In Nepal and Tibet, breakfasts are provided at the hotels, with lunch and dinner available at local restaurants or during transit. While in Bhutan, all meals are included and consist of Bhutanese, Tibetan, Indian and continental options served at hotels or designated dining spots. In Chitwan, you will enjoy full board with freshly prepared meals and tea or coffee. Drinking water is also provided throughout your stay in Bhutan and Chitwan.

Your accommodation throughout the journey includes 4-star and 3-star hotels in Nepal and Tibet, government-approved hotels in Bhutan, and a resort stay in Chitwan National Park. All lodging is based on twin sharing unless otherwise requested. The hotels offer a comfortable stay with a mix of modern amenities and traditional style. For those seeking extra luxury, an upgrade to five star accommodation is available at an additional cost.
Weather Information
Weather conditions vary across the regions and altitudes you’ll visit. In Kathmandu and Pokhara, average daytime temperatures range from 20°C to 25°C between March and May. From September to December, the weather is cooler and clear with daytime temperatures around 20°C. In winter months such as January and February, expect colder mornings and evenings, with temperatures ranging between 4°C and 22°C. In Lhasa and Bhutan, the weather is similar with dry air and sharp temperature drops in the evening, especially at higher elevations.
