Upon landing at Tribhuvan International Airport, our team welcomes you and transfers you to your hotel. Enjoy your first evening in Nepal’s buzzing capital.

Day 2: Guided Sightseeing in Kathmandu (1,400 m / 4,593 ft): 6-7 hrs
After breakfast, your guide will take you on a full-day city tour. You will visit Boudhanath, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world, and Pashupatinath, Nepal’s most sacred Hindu temple located on the banks of the Bagmati River. In Patan Durbar Square, admire traditional Newari architecture, intricate woodwork, and beautiful courtyards. Later, visit Kopan Monastery, a peaceful Tibetan Buddhist monastery where monks engage in prayers and rituals.

Difficulty Level
This trip is easy and designed for travelers of all fitness levels. Light walking and sightseeing are included, and no prior trekking or hiking experience is required. Bring comfortable walking shoes and stay hydrated during the day.
Meals
Throughout the trip, you will enjoy authentic Nepalese dishes alongside popular international cuisines such as Tibetan, Continental, and Indian. Breakfast and dinner are served at the hotels and resorts where you stay overnight in Kathmandu, Pokhara, Sarangkot, and Chitwan. Lunches are usually provided during activities such as rafting and on the road between destinations. A special farewell dinner will be hosted on the final night in Kathmandu.
Accommodation
You will be staying in comfortable hotels in Kathmandu and Pokhara, a guesthouse in Sarangkot, and a jungle resort in Chitwan. All accommodations are based on twin sharing. Single rooms can be arranged at an extra cost if requested. Each place offers a blend of comfort and local charm suitable for rest after your daily adventures.
Weather Information
In Kathmandu and Pokhara, daytime temperatures average around 25°C between March and May. From September to December, the temperature cools to about 20°C. December through February sees warmer days but colder nights with temperatures ranging from 4°C to 22°C. Conditions vary by altitude and season, so packing layers is recommended.
