Difficulty Level
This cultural journey is easy to moderate in terms of physical effort, with some days involving long drives and high-altitude environments (especially in Lhasa). A general level of fitness is sufficient, but travelers should be prepared for the thinner air in Tibet. Acclimatization and a relaxed pace help ease altitude adjustment.
Meals
Daily breakfasts are provided in all overnight locations, while your stay in Chitwan includes full board with drinks such as tea, coffee, and water. You’ll enjoy a mix of local and international cuisines, including Tibetan, Nepali, and Indian dishes. A special farewell dinner with cultural entertainment will be hosted on your second last evening in Kathmandu.
Accommodation
We’ll be accommodated at Hotel Manaslu in Kathmandu, and Bodhi Suites in Pokhara, a basic but clean guesthouse-style stay in Lhasa (Tibetan standard), and a jungle lodge in Chitwan. All accommodations are based on twin sharing. Single supplements are available at extra cost. For those seeking more comfort, a USD 760 upgrade option provides five-star hotels in Nepal and better lodging in Lhasa.
Weather Information
From March to May and September to November, daytime temperatures in Kathmandu and Pokhara range between 20°C and 28°C, while evenings are cooler. In Chitwan, it’s typically hot and humid, especially from April to September. Tibet remains dry and cooler year-round, with strong sun and thin air; especially from November to March when temperatures drop below freezing at night.
