//php the_title(); ?> Trip Overview
he Manaslu and Tsum Valley Trek offers a journey through one of Nepal’s most remote and culturally distinct Himalayan regions. Located along the Nepal-Tibet border, Tsum Valley remained closed to outsiders until 2008 and continues to preserve a traditional Tibetan way of life, including rare customs such as polyandry. The trek follows the Budhi Gandaki River through narrow gorges, forests, and terraced hillsides before diverging into the secluded Tsum Valley, where ancient Buddhist monasteries like Rachen Gompa, Mu Gompa, and Milarepa’s Cave; stand as spiritual landmarks. Surrounded by towering peaks such as Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Sringi Himal, and Boudha Himal, this route offers not only striking natural beauty but also a rare encounter with Himalayan heritage relatively untouched by modern tourism.
