Langtang, Gosaikunda and Helambu Trek is situated in Northern part of Kathmandu Valley that is inhabited by mix ethnic groups of Tibetan, Tamang and Hyolmo people takes to Northern Tibetan border. Langtang valley that is located in it’s upper reach of the tunnel that dramatically lies between Langtang and Jugal himal. Furthermore, this combined trek rapidly ascends toward key destinations before entering the Helambu region. The trail is expected to be crowded during Janai Purnima, a significant Hindu pilgrimage that takes place at Gosaikunda on the August full moon. The Langtang Valley trek through Tibetan settlement, biodiversity and kaleidoscopic view of Himalayan Panorama along the bank of Bhote Koshi and Langtang Khola river valley.
Likewise Tibetan migrated villages occupy the altitude over 3000m for two nights to acclimatize and explore ancient Gompa, cheese factory and hospitable people. However, completely journey is overlook of oaks, Rhododendron, peaceful Hemlock, and larch forest along with admiring gorge U-Shape glacier valley. Likewise, we explore a sacred Gosaikunda Lake, a person believes that it has magical natural healing power in this water. When you arrive, you will be welcomed by a representative of Ama Adventure. Furthermore check in at the Hotel and you explore around your neighborhoods over night at Hotel.

Day 2: Kathmandu Valley Sight Seeing
After breakfast, we start our tour to major historical and spiritual places of Kathmandu. The majority of these places are enlisted under the UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Boudhhanath (Buddhist Dumb), Pasupatinath (The Hindu Holy Temple).
After the travel, we come back to the hotel. Then, in the evening, preparation for trekking for the next day. Join welcome dinner.

Day 3: Kathmandu To Syabrubesi (1550 m/5,100 ft): 7-8 hrs
After breakfast, we start to travel to Syabrubesi that is starting point for Lantang Region. The journey will be a bumpy and winding road but on a clear day, one can see the spectacular mountains view that makes your day memorable.

Day 4: Syabrubesi to Rimche (2,560 m/8, 399 ft): 6-7 hrs
We start trekking after breakfast from the bank of Langtang River passing through small villages, beautiful rainy forest and diversity of nature. The journey to Rimche will be ascending and descending by cactus buses, oak and Rhododendron subtropical forest. However, after crossing the Langtang Khola trail that is steep about 130 m, lead us to the Rimche.

Day 5: Rimche to Lantang Village (3455 m/11,335 ft): 5-6 hrs
Today’s journey is to the Langtang Village. We begin the day as we descend gradually to the Lama Hotel and ascend pass amazing streams, pouring waterfalls, oaks and Rhododendron forest. However while we trek, one can eye can upon on kaleidoscopic view of Langtang range, stone Mane walls along the side of the trail and reverie mountain Tibetan settlement makes our day beautiful. The high altitude mountain village inhabited by Tibetan immigrated people and decorated by fluttering prayers, art and architecture of Tibetan Buddhism, stone mane walls, Barley field and roaming yaks. This village was badly affected by earthquake 2015, but today is completely rebuild. Finally, after long day walk, you deserve to take rest here.

Day 6: Lantang Village to Kyanjin Gompa (3870 m/12,697 ft): 3-4 hrs
After breakfast, journey starts to Kyanjin Gomba through Nepal’s longest Mane wall, isolated Tibetan settlement and yak pasture land. Along the way, we pass meaningful water mills, prayers wheels, chortens, mounds of rocks with inscriptions carved on them. More over, the trail becomes more joyful with spectacular mountains views, sighing rocks and most popular Langtang Lirung Glacier from the vantage. After beautiful shot hike, spend the day exploring the principle of Monastery of this areas, and their neighboring livelihood.

Day 7: Kyanjin Gompa (3870 m/12,697 ft) and Hike to Kyanjin Ri (15,655 ft): 3-4 hrs
Today is an optional day; we take an alternative day hike up to Kyanjin Ri, a sacred place of this region and the best place to capture panorama of surrounding mountain view. After we spend some time there, then in the evening we explore the Cheese Production Centre and weaving skill of Tibetan women. Then we stay over night.

Day 8: Kyanjin Gompa To Rimche (3870 m to 2560 m): 7-8 hrs
After breakfast we start descending the same trail to Rimche. We need to be very careful how we walk down, taking precaution for our legs and knees. Finally over night at Rimche.

Day 9: Rimche to Thulo Syabru (2, 230 m/7,316 ft): 5-6 hrs
After breakfast, we descend through the rainy forest to the Bank of Langtang Khola and cross the suspension above the river. After crossing the bridge, we continue to drop down to Pairo for lunch. Furthermore, we descend to the river, then climb to join trail with Gosaikunda journey where we turn to left side of the major trail and continue ascends to the Ridge of Lantang Khola and Gosaikunda River through Bamboo and lush forest. When we reach the top of the hill, we can see our destination closer. Before reaching to Thulo Syabru we will cross another suspension, climb for 30m and then finally reach Thulo Syabru to stay there overnight.

Day 10: Thulo Syabru to Shin Gompa (3250 m/10,662 ft): 4-5 hrs
There is a direct way to Chalang Pati but we take comparatively longer trail to adjust with the altitude. Furthermore we cross Old Buddhist Monastery that lies on the end of the village, Chorten and Police Check Post where we reentry our documents. From the check post, the trail climbs on switch back trail through pine forest, isolated Tamang Village along with admiring view of Ganesh Himal, Langtang and River Valley of Langtang Khola all the way to the top of Gatra Village. After the beautiful view from the hill, continue the trek through beautiful pine and bamboo forests. If we get lucky, it is possible to see the Red Panda throughout the journey. Finally we reach Shin Gumpa for overnight.

Day 11: Shin Gompa to Gosaikunda (4,40 m/14,632 ft): 5-6 hrs
Before leaving, we will visit the monastery of this place. We gradually ascent through the dense Rhododendron, pine forests. During the spring, it turns into a colorful garden. Eventually we reach Chalang Pati (3380 m). From Chalang Pati, we will officially enter the Gosaikunda protected areas. We kindly request everyone to respect the local culture here and protect the surrounding environment. When you trek to Gosaikunda, you walk in ridge and it offers kaleidoscopic vistas of Langtang Lirung at the North East as well as Ganesh Himal, Manaslu and Annapurna at the West. Tibet is also visible in the distance. After climbing for a while, some lakes come closer. As we continue, we gently drop to the third scared lake. Finally, we arrive at the Holy Lake Gosaikunda (4380m) that is bustling during the Full Moon Festival every August for worship.

Day 12: Gosaikunda to Ghopte (3,440 m/11,286 ft): 6-8 hrs
After breakfast, we head towards the north side of the lakes through rocky rough trail climbs, and then gradually to the Laurebina La Pass (4610 m). The trek from the pass brings you to admire the high altitude holy lakes, spiritual stone crane, pasture land along with blood rushing vintage of kaleidoscopic mountains. After the hard descend, get to the seasonable herd to Phedi, pass Dubi Chaur before reaching to Ghopte to stay over night.

Day 13: Ghopte to Kutumsang (2,440 m/8,005 ft): 5-6 hrs
We begin our descend through the dense rhododendron forest, then walk over the glacier moraine as well as on rough and rocky trail. Before Tharepati, we need to ascend through the beautiful forest all the way to the top, which is a great place to overlook Himalayan panorama. After Tharepati, we gradually descend between flowers grassland to the remote isolated high pastureland call Magengoth at (3150 m). After lunch we drop down gently, then the trail gets steeper all the way to reverie village Kutumsang. We finally reach our destination for the day to stay overnight.

Day 14: Kutumsang to Chisopani (2,190 m/7,185 ft): 7-8 hrs
We descend through the pasture lands along with beautiful forest. Continue to trek to Gul Bhanjyang and cross the Buddhist at the village. While we walk, we cross another pass before we descend to the isolated traditional Tamang village. Then, we continue our journey to Thodang Betini. We further go up to Jhogin Danda, then descend steeply down to Chipling- stretch that really tests the knees. From there, we make a final ascent to Chisopani for the night, which offers a stunning panoramic view of the Himalayan range.

After the sensational sunrise view, we begin our journey through Shivapuri ridge. We cross the thick rainy forest and reach to Borlang Bhanjyang. We continue our descends through Mulkharka, admiring pouring waterfalls and powerhouse before reaching Sundarijal. From there, we travel to Kathmandu.

As far as your trip has been confirmed we are granted all group departure dates even though there is only a single person sign for trekking. Difficulty Level
This trekking required a person with average physical fitness no need to have specially training therefore beginner hikers also can complete this trek. This trekking leads you to high altitude gradually and within a short period of time there will be significant change in weather due to the altitude variation.
Meals
During the trek, we’ll enjoy a mix of local Nepali food and popular international dishes such as Tibetan, Continental, Italian, and Indian. Breakfast and dinner are served at the teahouse or lodge where we stay overnight, while lunch is taken along the trail at a suitable stop. All meals are included during the trekking days. In Kathmandu and Pokhara, only breakfast is provided. A welcome and a farewell dinner are also part of the trip.
Accommodation
In Kathmandu, we will stay at Hotel Manaslu, and in Pokhara, our accommodation will be at Bodhi Suites-both comfortable 4-star hotels. During the trek, we’ll stay in local teahouses. All accommodations are on a twin-sharing basis. A single room can be arranged on request for an extra cost of USD 290. While we’ll book the best available teahouses along the Mardi Himal trail, please note that the facilities may be quite basic compared to the more developed routes like Annapurna or Everest. Single rooms are generally available in Kathmandu and Pokhara, but they might not be possible to find during the trek.

Important Information
At Ama Adventure, we provide a free duffel bag and baseball cap during your pre-trip briefing in Kathmandu. The duffel bag will be used to pack your trekking gear and will be carried by your trainee guide during the trek.
Trainee Guide Support: One trainee guide is assigned for every two trekkers. Your duffel bag should weigh around 10 kg (22 lbs) to ensure it’s manageable.
Daypack: You’ll need your own daypack (with a waterproof cover) to carry your daily essentials like water, cash, documents, sunscreen, a camera, toiletries, snacks, a notebook, and an extra layer.
Luggage Storage: You can leave your non-trekking luggage at your hotel in Kathmandu while you’re on the trek.
Rental Options: If you don’t have all your trekking gear, don’t worry-you can easily rent or purchase items in Thamel, Kathmandu’s popular trekking gear hub. We’re happy to help you arrange whatever you need.
Down Jacket: A down jacket with a hood is essential for altitudes above 4,000 meters. You can rent one through us for USD 35. Please note, if lost or damaged, the replacement cost is USD 200.
Sleeping Bag: A four-season sleeping bag is also available for rental at USD 35. As with the jacket, any loss or damage will require reimbursement of USD 200.
Respectful Clothing: While trekking in local villages, we encourage modest clothing. Some tight-fitting outfits (like yoga pants or leggings) may be uncomfortable for local communities. If wearing them for comfort, please pair them with a longer top or light covering.
Weather
The best time to trek Langtang Gosaikunda is from September to November and February to April, when the weather is clear and views are stunning.
Lower areas are mild (15–20°C), but temperatures drop near Gosaikunda, especially at night, reaching as low as -6°C. Snow is possible in November and early February, while spring (March–May) offers colorful rhododendron blooms along the trail.
