You will wander through the medieval cities of Kathmandu and Bhaktapur, both beautifully preserved with their narrow alleyways, traditional Newari homes, and historic courtyards. These ancient settlements tell the stories of the Malla kings and showcase the artistry and craftsmanship that define the valley.
Along the way, you will visit some of Nepal’s most important landmarks, including Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath, and the UNESCO-listed Durbar Squares. From vibrant local markets to serene monasteries, each experience offers a glimpse into the spiritual and cultural soul of Nepal.

Day 1: Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport and explore the local market (1,400 m / 4,593 ft): 2-3 hrs
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. After checking in and resting, take a guided walk through the lively streets of Thamel and Ason Bazaar, once a major trading point on the ancient Tibet route. Explore its bustling shops, spices, and vibrant atmosphere.
Note: If you arrive before 4 pm, a detailed pre-trip meeting will be held at our office. If you arrive later, the briefing will be conducted at your hotel.

Day 2: Guided Sightseeing in Kathmandu and Bhaktapur (1,400 m / 4,593 ft): 6-7 hrs
After breakfast, set out on a full-day cultural tour with your guide. Begin at Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), perched atop a hill with sweeping views of the valley. Visit Pashupatinath Temple, the holiest Hindu temple in Nepal, located on the banks of the Bagmati River. Continue to the magnificent Boudhanath Stupa, a key center of Tibetan Buddhism.
In the afternoon, drive to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, a beautifully preserved medieval city showcasing Newari craftsmanship. Discover temples, royal courtyards, and the iconic five-tiered Nyatapola Temple. Conclude your day with a farewell dinner at a traditional Nepali restaurant.

Difficulty Level
This trip is easy and designed for travelers of all fitness levels. Light walking and sightseeing are included, and no prior trekking or hiking experience is required. Bring comfortable walking shoes and stay hydrated during the day.
Meals
Throughout our trek, you’ll savor authentic Nepalese dishes alongside international cuisines such as Tibetan, Continental, Italian, and Indian. Breakfast and dinner will be served at the tea houses or lodge menus where we stay overnight, while lunches will be provided en route to our next destination. During the trek, all meals are included. In Kathmandu, breakfast is provided, and farewell dinner will be arranged for our guests on the final night in Kathmandu.
Accommodation
We’ll be accommodated at Hotel Manaslu in Kathmandu. Accommodations are based on twin sharing. For those requesting a single room, there will be an additional cost of USD 100. Single rooms are readily available in Kathmandu, but availability might be limited at higher elevations.
Weather Information
Daytime temperatures in Kathmandu and Nagarkot range between 18°C to 27°C (65°F and 80°F) depending on the season. Evenings and mornings can be cooler, averaging 10°C (50°F). From October to December skies are generally clear and visibility of the Himalayas is at its best, while March to May brings warm, dry weather and blooming landscapes.
