Day 2: Guided Sightseeing in Delhi

After breakfast, begin your guided city tour of Delhi. Explore Old Delhi with a rickshaw ride through the busy alleys of Chandni Chowk and visit Jama Masjid, one of India’s largest mosques. In New Delhi, admire landmarks including India Gate, the Lotus Temple made of pure white marble, Rastrapati Bhavan, and the Qutub Minar.

Day 4: Jaipur Sightseeing and Jeep Ride at Amer Fort

Day 6: Agra Sightseeing: Taj Mahal and Agra Fort

Day 8: Swayambhunath tour and trip preparation

After breakfast, you will head towards Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple. Perched atop a hill overlooking the Kathmandu Valley, this ancient stupa is one of the most iconic landmarks of Nepal. Believed to have been self-created, it holds deep spiritual significance for both Buddhists and Hindus. This cultural and wildlife tour is designed for travelers with moderate fitness and mobility. Most sightseeing activities involve walking on flat urban terrain or short hikes with manageable elevation changes. The tour covers travel by vehicle, flights, and moderate physical activity such as short hikes to viewpoints and temple visits. Prior travel experience and comfortable walking ability are recommended to fully enjoy the trip.

Meals

Enjoy a variety of authentic regional dishes throughout the journey including Indian, Nepalese, and Bhutanese cuisine. Breakfasts and dinners are served at hotels and lodges, with full board meals provided during your stay in Chitwan and Bhutan. Lunches are generally on the road or during activities and include local specialties. Tea, coffee, and bottled water are provided during meals and tours.

Accommodation

You will stay in comfortable four star hotels in major cities like Delhi, Jaipur, Agra, Kathmandu, and Pokhara. In Chitwan, accommodation is at a jungle resort offering a blend of comfort and nature. In Bhutan, you will stay in government-approved three to four star hotels with traditional decor and modern amenities. Twin sharing is standard; single rooms are available on request for an extra cost.

Weather Information

Daytime temperatures range from 25°C in spring months of March to May. From September to December, temperatures cool to around 20°C. The coldest months, December through February, experience daytime highs of 22°C and chilly nights that can drop to 4°C. Weather varies with altitude, so pack accordingly for warm days and cooler evenings.
