Trip Overview
Day Tour of Annapurna Base Camp in Helicopter is the fastest way to reach Annapurna Base Camp and take in the full glory of the Himalayas.
We begin early with a drive to Kathmandu airport for your chartered helicopter flight. As you lift off, the landscape shifts from the city’s edge to rolling green hills, dotted with traditional villages and layered rice terraces. Flying deeper into the mountains, we enter the Modi River gorge and soon open out into the heart of the Annapurna Sanctuary.
Once we land at base camp, you’ll have 15 to 30 minutes to soak in the breathtaking views and enjoy a quick breakfast, surrounded by towering peaks like Annapurna I, Machapuchare, and Hiunchuli.
On the return journey, the helicopter flies over picturesque villages such as Chhomrong and Ghandruk, with sweeping views of Poon Hill in the distance. Back in Kathmandu, you’ll be transferred to your hotel to relax after this unforgettable mountain experience.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Fly to Annapurna Base Camp and Return to Kathmandu (15-30 min at Base Camp)
We’ll start early, departing from the hotel to Kathmandu airport. From there, we’ll board a helicopter for our flight to Annapurna Base Camp. As we soar over the green hills dotted with beautiful farm villages and terraced fields, we’ll enter the Modi River gorge and the picturesque Annapurna sanctuary before landing at the base camp. After a quick breakfast, we’ll spend 15-30 minutes enjoying the breathtaking views of the Annapurna peaks. Then, we’ll fly back, passing over cultural villages like Chhomrong and Ghandruk, and witness the stunning Poon Hill. Once back in Kathmandu, we’ll transfer to the hotel for you to relax.
