The Kakani is surrounded stunning forest, Tamang village and incredible mountains. The Kakani viewpoints offer the magical view of Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang Range, Gaurisankar, and Jugal Himal range. Plan your next day to kakani for the tailor-made weekend.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Kathmandu to Kakani (2100m, 6889ft), 6-7 hrs

After breakfast we travel to Kakani bazaar early in the morning for a great mountain view that takes about 1:30m from Thamel.The Day hike to Kakani begins from Kakani bazar which takes 2: 30m in normal phase. It offers an awe- inspiring view of a long range of mountains panorama with a sensonic valley view. At the kakani you will explore thai memorial park, surrounding areas. Day Hikes to Kakani leds through mesmerizing landscaped , green mountain that create by himalaya panorama and small ethenic village. This is the best opportunity for those who want to spend a day in pure nature and get over from the city for a few hours on a limited budget.At evening we descend to Kakani bazar and drive back to Kathmandu.

Weather Information

The best time to visit Kakani Village is from September to November or March to May, with daytime temps around 65-80°F (18–27°C) and cooler nights near 50°F (10°C). Autumn offers clear skies and great views, while spring brings warmth and blooming hills. Monsoon (June–Sept) is wet and humid. Winter is dry but chilly, dropping below 40°F (4°C) in higher spots like Nagarkot.
