Tsum valley is a Himalayan pilgrimage site situated in the northern part of the Gorkha that leads to the border with Tibet. This hidden secluded restricted area is home to the ancient Tibetan culture and religion inhabited by Tibetan people. The valley known as the "Beyal Kyimolung" the holy hidden of happiness, the first time described by Guru Rimpoche in the 18th century. As recorded in ancient history, Padmasambhava (Guru Rimpoche) refused to see when the earth was approaching destruction and the world became too corrupt to practice spiritual practices.
The term Tsum comes from the Tibetan words "Tsombo" whose people in Tsum valley have their own unique cultures, religious customs, traditions and still use their own dialect. People of this region reported that they had seen or found the Yeti or Abominable snowman. Difficulty Level
This Trekking requires above physical fitness there is no need to have special technical skill even beginners are also successful in this trip. Basically, 5 to 9 hours of trekking gain significant elevation gain.

According to a policy of the Government to travel in this area required at least two people to enter the region for your safety concern. To travel into the Manaslu region required to have a special permit which costs 100$ is included in your price.

Itinerary
After arriving a representative of Ama Adventure well -come to the airport. Furthermore check in to the hotel to explore surroundings nearby.
After breakfast, we take a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley, with a visit to Swayambhunath, a Buddhist and Hindu pilgrimage site known as the self-created stupa. The tour continues to Pashupatinath temple, a popular pilgrimage site for Hindus. The tour ends at the Boudhanath stupa, the largest stupa in South Asia. After that, you will be taken back to your hotel and prepared for your trek.
Driving to Sotikhola, one of the least visited remote areas in the country, we discover a mixed ethnic group. On the way, we see a beautiful hillside village, a Sal forest, and a view of the mountains from the window. Although the road to Dhading Besi is well paved after the rest of the journey on bumpy and rough roads, the view over the vintage makes the entire journey wrathful. After reaching the Soti Khola on the Budi Nadaki River, we stayed overnight there.
We cross the suspension bridge above the Budi Gandaki River then walk through admiring rice paddies and Sal forests above the ridge of the river valley. While we reach the Khursani ascents through twin power-rushing Waterfalls, rice terraces on a switchback, and rocky trail to the Gurung settlement at Lubu Besi. We continue our journey behind the rock formation of the Budi Gandaki river winding wider in small rocks. At the end of the day, we trek above the rounded stone before climbing through the sandy riverbank then descending passing suspension bridges to reach Machha Khola overnight.
We descended on a narrow trail through Thado Khola, finally reaching the Khola Besi. After that, we continued to the Tatopani village by descending and ascending. Here, we climb on the wider stone stairs trail past the landslide that leads to the Doban village over the ridge. We walk on the bank of Budhi Gandaki river valley then cross the suspension bridge of Yakkharkha Khola then up steeply again dropdown. The condition of the trail turns in to up and down according to the shape of the land it equally needs to ascents and descent to the Yarukhaola. Moreover, the trail turns to the west of the Budhi Gandaki river we trek on the ridge of the river valley all way to Jagat, Overnight.
we check all documents before heading to Tsum Valley. This is the official entry point for the Trek to Manaslu and Tsum Valley trekking. On Our ascent, we trek above the ridge of Salleri village and continue to drop to Sirdibas village. The River valley gets wider then leads upwards the GhatKhola cross suspension bridge over Ghatta Khola. We cross the isolated Gurung settlement Phelim and the school that was sponsored by the Japanese Government also Police Station. The trail turns north from Phelim through stunning forest and the view of the river valley finally reaches Chisopani overnight.
The trek begins by crossing isolated mountain villages, a blushing waterfall, dense pine forest, and a gorge where a trail on the downside leads to Tsum valley. During the journey climb through beautiful forest soaking panoramic views of Buddha Himal and Himalchuli, a peak (7,893m) as seen from isolated village Lokpa. We gradually ascend to the north where you can enjoy the beauty of nature and the smell of fresh mush that motivates you to reach at hillside village Gumlung . Before reach to the final destination, you will cross the Siyar Khola with the breathing backdrop of Siringi Himal. Explore beautiful stone-paved village gets blessed with ancient Chumling Monastery.
The twin villages of Chumling and Chokhang Paro are five hours of walkthrough natural and culturally and naturally rich activities. This Trekking is not as bustling as others trekking trails where we cross the suspension bridge in the opposite direction with a kaleidoscopic view of Ganesh Himal from the vantage then reach to the Gho Village. We ascended for a couple of hours to get to the Chhokangparo through the pouring water river .one eye can upon Himalchuli and Ganesh from a vantage then overnight.
We ascend above the Chokhaparo village through suspension bridge, popular Ranchen Gumba again cross the Shiar KholaAlong the way pass Shiarkhola continue to Lar village as well as Micro Hydro power then arrive at Phoebe and Pangdun Village. At the end of our day we cross more of the ancient Buddha stupa, the remote village Chhule continues to climb and passes the bridge finally arriving at the Nile. In the evening we explore the famous Chhule Monastery that lies above the village.
After Breakfast we walk to the northern border of Tibet then trek to the west of the valley ascents top to the Mu Gompa. When we reach the village we will explore the Mu Gompa and Dhephu Doma Gomba then back to a tea house overnight.

We explored the historical Monastery of these areas. Mu Gompa is located in the remote part of the Tsum valley and is the largest Monastery of this hidden valley. There is another optional hike to the base of Pika Himal at (4865m).
After Breakfast we return to the Paro village then continue down to Gho Village. The Trail continues descent then crosses suspension bridge above Sarpsukhola finally reaching Lower Tsum valley walk further to Chhumling overnight.
Today we trek to Philim through Lokpa village and continue trek to the south .Along the way we will pass stunning Sambu Falls and finally arrive at Philim overnight.
Trek to Philim to Khorlabesi is six to seven hours walk cross the hillside village Jagat and Tatopani.We continue descents cross sirdibas, Dobhan through subtropical forest continue ascent to Tatopani finally arrive at Khorlabesi for overnight.
After Breakfast continue trek on rocky trail cross Tharo khola then descends to Machhakhola. We follow the bank of Budhi Gandaki river valley and pass twin waterfalls, admiring the cliff before getting to Lububesi village. We continued trekking through Khursani village along the bank of river valley cross-beautiful sal forest finally reached Soti Khola overnight.
Today is the final day of our trek drive to Kathmandu along the bank of Budhi Gandaki mad Trisuli river . During the trip we will admire the splendid view of the snow covered mountain, structure of land, cultivated land and countryside villages from the window. Finally, we arrived in Kathmandu; in the evening, we had a farewell dinner to celebrate our successful trip.
Today is our final day of our trip. The Ama Adventure representative drops you to the airport, wishes you a safe journey and hopes to see you at the next adventure.

This trek can be accomplished with normal physical fitness and does not require any special physical fitness training. Despite that good heal conditions and positive energy are always required to complete this authentic journey.
If you are traveling only to Tsum valley you need special permits for Tsum valley trek that will provide immigrants, if your extensions to Manaslu that also require Annapurna conservation Permits as well.
Autumn (Mid Sep -Nov) and Spring (March-May) are the suitable time for the hike to Tsum Valley Trek. These seasons are the best time to observe the incredible mountain view and diverse nature.
The Tea houses in this area have the power to charge your devices at the dining hall but in a few places including Gumpa Lungdang and Dharamsala you have to manage your power to charge and power supply. you have to pay a small amount to charge your devices.
