Lobuche peak is located at Sagarmatha National park in the Eastern part of the Nepal Himalayas. The region is popular for multiple adventure activities as well as its biodiversity. It is a great opportunity to witness various wildlife like musk deer, Snow Leopard along with varieties  Flora and Fauna.  The mountain area is inhabited by Sherpa people known as the land of Mountain Guides.
 
Lobuche Peak climbing is popular for observing  spectacular sunset and sunrise over the  Himalayas  from Summit. While climbing to the top of lobuche peak, this region one can eye upon the World’s highest mountain Mt Everest 8,848m, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, and other snow-covered mountains from the vintage. During the trek, you will cross hidden ancient Buddhist Stupas and Buddhist Monasteries.

Difficulty Level

Lobuche Peak climbing requires basic technical skills and involves high altitudes, demanding a high level of physical fitness. Expect to hike for 5 to 10 hours daily, gaining significant elevation.

Itinerary

After arriving at the airport we will be welcome by a representative of Ama Adventure. Furthermore, check into a hotel and explore the surrounding neighborhoods.  This evening  we will have a meeting, briefing and welcome dinner.  
The flight to Lukla takes arounds 35minutes. From Lukla, Phakding village has to pass by villages as you trace the bank of Dudh Koshi River. After arriving at Phakding you will get your first experience of mountain life.  
Trek to Namche our trail goes through Handrails of Dudh Koshi River along the way pass through the pine forest and we continue walking on the trail that goes north up the Benkar village. After crossing Dudhkoshi River passing through Chumoa and Monjo villages we reached the entrance of the Sagarmatha National park. After crossing the suspension bridge, we reach Jorsalle, which is the last village before reaching Namche Bazaar. After the bridge begins the difficult hike up to Namche Bazaar and enjoys the beauty of Everest view. Along the way to Namche, we pass by waterfalls, bridges, flora and fauna. Namche Bazaar is the biggest town in Khumbu valley when you reach the much-deserved rest.  
Namche Bazaar is the primary administrative town for the Khumbu region with all facilities. For Acclimatization, we Hike up to Sagarmatha National park to enjoy the spectacular view of (Chomolumba) Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Kongde, and many more. For gain, more altitude, and rest before the next ascent you can spend your day hiking to Everest viewpoint, an optional two-hour hike with an amazing view. Continue hike to Khumjung village, start climbing Namche bazaar above the Handrails of the village. Reach to the village you have descended at the base of the sacred mountain Khumbilla. Spend your day encounter with yeti skull explore monastery Hillary school under the boasts of beautiful stone main walls and stupas. Hillary Secondary School is only one secondary school in Khumbu valley, After returning to Namche Bazar.     
The day began passing through beautiful rhododendron forest ascent to the Dudhkoshi River and equally popular ascent through rhododendron forest to Phortse. The hike to upper Phunki Thanka is an easier trail from here to Kyangjuma. Phortse village is famous for being one of the oldest Monasteries around Khumbu valley.  The valley is popular for having panoramic views of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku.
Trek to Denbuche continue your hike as you lake in the Mountain View along the trail and ascend through rhododendron, lunch, birch, and conifer forest. Along with the trekking, we can observe views of the snowy peaks of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. We are descending to Pangboche and then crossing the Imja River.  If we are interested in exploring the Pangboche monastery we can choose the upper trail, which is the oldest monastery in Khumbu valley. From Somare, we continue our ascending walk to the Imja Valley and Lobuche River. Dingboche is a small beautiful village with a farm of barley, potato, and buckwheat fields complete with animals grazing along with those fields.  
After breakfast, we will spend the day hiking nearby villages, we will help you to acclimate to the high altitude. Furthermore, we climb a ridge behind the village where you will admire to see six world highest peaks. Such views as Makalu, Lhotse, and Khumbu Khola valley likewise, from another location we can view the Imja Khola valley and Denbuche village and rest overnight.  
Above the treeline, we trek across a wider valley pass that is a much-wanted change in the altitude walking in the straight line. Moreover, continue your ascending towards Everest underwiring mountains. The valley starts to narrow and we begin to see Mt Pumori as we continue our trail. The trail passes through a steep terminal moraine of the Khumbu glacier. Along the way to the top of the ridge is a field with prayer flags and stones that are memorial shrines for climbers who lost their lives during Everest expeditions. As we cross the Khumbu glacier we also can admire the view of Mt Nuptse. Reaching Labuche nestled high in the Himalaya a majority of trekkers stop along the trail to base campmate challenging short days you must deserve rest and overnight at Labche.    
When we reach the Gorak Shep, after lunch, the hike to Everest base camp. Passing through beautiful Khumbu glacier and stunning mountain views. The trail follows along the western side of Khumbu valley and has a stunningly beautiful view of Mt. Pumari is known as the (Daughter of Mt Everest). There are lots of meandering on rough terrains. Afterward, there is a brief descent to reach the Groak shep and to have a short break before heading towards Everest Base camp at 17,598ft. The Everest Base is amazingly stunningly beautiful. You will get an unforgettable lifetime memory. After admiring the beauty of the entire area we walk back to the Gorak shep for deserving overnight.  
Early in the morning before sunrise, we walk up to the Kalapathar 5545m (18,192ft) above sea level that takes about two hours. We ascend a series of steep trails at a comfortable pace that eventually leads to the summit. After reaching the summit, we can enjoy the beautiful sunrise with a spectacular view of Mt Everest including Khumbuche, Pumori, and many other snowy peaks. After a memorable time at the top, we went back to the hotel for breakfast and then continued the descent to the Pheriche.  
Today, we trek up to Lobuche BC, sacred places of this region that is a place to observe a panorama of the surrounding mountain. After lunch, we will do short training about Lobuche peak climbing techniques.  
We started Early this morning climbing up to Lobuche peak with climbing gear, sacred places of this region that is a place to observe a panorama of the surrounding mountain from Lobuche peak summit. After spending an amazing time at the top, back to Lobuche base camp and continue to Lobuche village for the overnight stay at the tea house.  
Today, we will have a late breakfast, then start trekking around 10 AM.  trek   to Tengboche overnight.  
Trek to the Namche Bazar continues the descent to the tengboche, Phunki tanka and your trek leads through Khumbu valley. Bhote Koshi River, and beautiful forest. Meanwhile, the trek  back to Namche Bazaar is easier, and passing through rhododendron forest continues with a climb for an hour to the love Changsha . The walk to the Namche Bazaar is very scenic on a long winding path. Head back to Namche Bazaar overnight.  
Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla is the last day of your trekking start with a steep descent and mammals traffic where you are always on the safe side. Here, trekking passes through beautiful small villages such as the Jorsalle, Monjo, Phakding expecting for short ascent and continuing down the handrails of the Bhotekoshi River crossing it three times. Before reaching Lukla, you have to ascend a gentle slope for 45m to get to the final destination. After a long day, you must rest overnight at Lukla.  
After breakfast, hoping to get an early flight back to Kathmandu, the flight from Lukla to Kathmandu takes 35 minutes. Then drive back to Kathmandu hotel normally it takes a hours’ and then checking to Hotel and get a rest.  
After Breakfast, we toured Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Hindu pilgrim site Pashupatinath Temple, and Boudhanath, which are the world’s Heritage sites. Moreover, Swayambhunath is known as the self-created stupa, Pashupatinath Temple is one of the most popular pilgrimage sites for Hindu, and Boudhanath stupa is known as one of the largest stupas in the world.    
Today is the final day of our trip. The Ama Adventure representative drops you at the airport, wishes you a safe journey, and hopes to see you on your next adventure.

FAQ

Lobuche peak is a popular climbing peak of Nepal. It is not difficult at an extreme altitude of 6119m. It is a great introduction to high altitude climbing and the most appropriate climb before attempting other challenging mountain expeditions.
 
It is possible to climb Mera Peak all through the year but summertime is not recommended due to the heavy monsoon. Spring Autumn is considered to be the most suitable time of the year for any climbing journey in the Himalayas. Mera peak can also be attempted during the winter but the extreme cold could be challenging for those who are not experienced with high altitudes.
 
Obviously yes! In normal situations, our blocked trips are guaranteed to run. Your trip will continue even if your other travelers cancel the trip. Unless there is a situation that is out of control such as a political riot, natural disaster, pandemic, epidemic, or weather catastrophes, our trip is 100% guaranteed.

You will be traveling with a group with a similar interest unless you book for the private tour. You will be guided by an experienced and professional local climbing instructor who has been summit successfully multiple times. Your guide will provide you with important tips and teach you the tricks while assisting you from day one.

Even though it is known to be a trekking peak; It requires some mountaineering, Lobuche peak is known to be a trekking peak that requires proper trekking gear and equipment. Please check the essential peak climbing equipment section.
 
You will get 3 healthy meals each day while climbing Mera peak. Generally, you will have your breakfast, lunch, and dinner where you stay every day. Lunch will be provided at the teahouse along the way. While staying at the tented camps during the climb we will be served packed lunch along with tea or coffee. Breakfast and Dinner are freshly prepared by my climbing cooks. The meals contain fresh fruits and organic ingredients sourced from Kathmandu and local villages.
 

While trekking in the lower region you will stay in available Tea Houses or lodges. During your climb, you will overnight in camping tents for 3, 4 nights. We will provide separate guest tents, Toilet tents, and Kitchen tents.

You do not require special technical mountaineering experience for Lobuche peak climbing as long as you are fit and strong enough to walk for several hours for several days on varied terrains. You may need to hold the ropes, use an ice pick, harness, and ice boots on the slopes during the climb. Before arriving in Nepal we will provide instructions about the techniques for the climb. The gear and basic climbing skill training are also set aside one or two days before the summit.
 
Lobuche  peak is a mountain that is above 6,000m so we recommend having an insurance policy that covers evacuation at least up to the altitudes of 6,461m. We also recommend you get insured for medical issues, flight delays, cancellations, and other issues.
 

Yes, of course, you will need a climbing permit. The permit for the climbing was easily acquired through a registered and licensed agency. Each of you needs to purchase both a national park and climbing permit. Ama Adventure will arrange all the paperwork and climbing permits.
