Chandragiri has been one of the most scenic hikes for people from all around the world with limited time. Chandragiri hill recently got popular after cable cars were recently developed as a hillstation with various resorts, eateries, temples and an exciting place to escape the city.Likewise, this hike is relatively easy and gives a break to the people struggling to balance their professional and personal life together. Also termed as a couple hike, many married and unmarried pairs complete these hikes and is considered as a solemn walk in the woods, perfect for pair.Its famous for snowfall, Chandragiri often fills up during winter with those willing to experience the snowfall.
The hike starts from the hill top of Chandragiri at 2551 metres above sea level and gradually crosses fairly tall trails to reach Champadevi standing at 2278 meters. Descending down from regular stairs, leading to the beautiful Champadevi and ending once the hikers reach Puspalal Park at Machhegaun.The hike gives you a clear view of Langtang, Ganesh Himal, Gaurishanker, Jugal Himal, and you’d see the beautiful Kathmandu valley along with various clouds changing their shape from these hills. You get the bird view of Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur and you also get to see historically Khokana, and Pharping along with the Kathmandu valley.Explore the historical trail to have the tailor made travel experience near Kathmandu valley.

Itinerary
After breakfast we drive to Thankot at the Chandragiri entrance gate and ride the cable car. It takes 9m to reach the top.In Chandragiri hill we visit Bageshwari temple, enjoy the surrounding view then continue our hike.The trail is comparatively easy but much to observe and experience within a few hours.Through out the journey you get to enjoy mesmerizing view of Manasulu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Dorje Lakhpa, Jugal Himal, Gaurisankar along with Kathmandu and Makawanpur and others places.Carry enough water and trail scanks there is not any shops before Machhegaun.During your Hike you will encounter with varieties of flora fauna and visit Hindu temple such as the champa devi and machenaryan Temple. We end hour amazing day hike in Machhegaun and drive back to home.
