Our Motivating Leader at Ama Adventure is led by Goma Thapa. Having worked as a trekking guide and researcher for over a decade, she now manages the entire operation and ensures that everything goes without a hitch. Goma was initially inspired to pursue guiding by her strong ties to the mountains and local cultures in Palpa, a stunning district in western Nepal. During busy times, Goma not only oversees day-to-day operations but also guides trekking parties. Every trek with Ama Adventure is planned, safe, and unforgettable thanks to her extensive trail experience and her knowledge of business management. Goma graduated from Tribhuvan University with a degree in Anthropology. Her education and years of practical trekking experience enable her to give all of our clients a deeper understanding of Nepal’s breathtaking landscapes and varied cultures. Goma’s dedication to empowering women in the trekking industry is what makes her unique. In a field where female representation is still increasing, she has guided and assisted numerous women throughout her career, inspiring them to become self-reliant and capable leaders.
