Trip Overview

The Annapurna Circuit Trek is one of Nepal’s most iconic high-altitude adventures and is considered one of the best classical walks in the world. The journey begins along the Marsyangdi River and gradually leads you to the northern fringes of the Himalayas, eventually reaching the upper Kali Gandaki River valley. This trek is especially famous for the Kali Gandaki Gorge, known as the deepest gorge in the world.

As the trail slowly ascends from the lower Marsyangdi Valley, it takes you all the way to Thorong La Pass at 5,416 meters, the highest trekking pass in the world. Along the way, you’ll witness breathtaking views of some of the world’s highest peaks, including Manaslu, Annapurna I, and Dhaulagiri, surrounded by stunning landscapes.

During the Annapurna Circuit Trek, you’ll pass through charming villages inhabited by diverse ethnic groups like the Gurung, Thakali, and Tibetan communities. A visit to the sacred Muktinath Temple adds a spiritual dimension to the experience. If you’re looking for a trek that offers rich cultural encounters, varied scenery, and a true high-altitude challenge, the Annapurna Circuit is an unforgettable adventure.
