Mardi Himal Trek – 12 Days Brief Insight

Mardi Himal is located in the northern part of Pokhara valley in the Annapurna conservation area. It is newly open trekking trail is peaceful, relatively easy with a sense view and an incredible natural setting. The Mardi Himal trekking is the ideal destination for trek on the off beaten path trail in side the wooden- land. Trek basically based on the lower elevations but will take you over that take you over 4000m in short period of time.While explore this region, pass the verdant forest, colorful villages, rolling hills, rice paddies along with splendid views of Annapurna, Lamjung and Dhaulagiri.
Even though this trek is short, it creates a small circle up to the Mardi Himal Base Camp where you do not have to follow the same trail to return back. Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)

After arriving, a representative of Ama Adventure will come to the airport. Furthermore, check in to a hotel explorer near your neighbouring .

Day 2: Kathmandu valley Tour & Trip Preparation

After Breakfast we start a tour around the (UNESCO) Heritage sites. Tour includes Swayambhunath that is a popular pilgrimage site for both hindu and buddhist devotees and known as the self created stupa. Tour continues to Pashupatinath temple, a famous pilgrimage site for hindu devotees. The day tour ends at the Boudhanath stupa that is the largest stupa in South Asia.Afternoon prepare for trekking then joining the welcome dinner at the evening.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Pokhara (8,84/2,900ft) by drive: 7 - 8 Hours

After Breakfast, we will travel to Pokhara, which is one of the most beautiful cities in Nepal located in the Annapurna region. Driving to Pokhara can be a little bumpy but reverie a beautiful village, magnificent view and blushing water river will make your travel more wrathful. After a long day of travel, arrive at Pokhara, spend your time exploring the city before heading to Himalayas then overnight.

Day 4: Pokhara to Deurali (2,100m/6,7,20ft): 30m Drive, 4 - 5 Hours Trek

After Breakfast, we will drive to Khande then start ascends to the Australian Camp through oak and Rhododendron forest. Australian camp is popular for admire sunrise views over the mountains and Birding. We continue walk to Pothana for lunch, which is the entrance point for this region. While trekking to Deurali you will pass beautiful lush h forest, amazing layers of landscape, and splendid Mountain View. Finally, we reached the Deurali.

Day 5: Deurail to Forest Camp (2,520m/ 8,267ft): 6 - 7 Hours

We starts assents through amazing Rhododendron (National flower of Nepal), lush forest admiring biodiversity of this region to the forest camp. The journey to Forest Camp will be inside the forest on peaceful environment that will make your day wrathful. After beautiful hike finally you will reach to the Forest Camp for overnight.

Day 6: Forest Camp to Low Camp (2,970/9,504ft): 5 - 6 Hours

Trek to low camp began through stunning rainy forest along the admiring biodiversity of Nepal. While trekking you will admire the view of Mt Machhapuchhre over the valley makes your journey more enjoyable. After a few hours of gradual climb, reach the Low camp for overnight.

Day 7: Low Camp to High Camp (3,540m/11,328ft): 3 - 4 Hours

After Breakfast, we star trek through above the thinner tree line and isolated Rhododendron bushes take us to Machhapuchhre and Mardi Hymnal. We climb entire journey on top of ridge of Seti river valley and Modi Khola that is the inhabitant of national Bird Pheasant (Daphne).The low Camp is best to place to see view of Mt Machhapuchhre from closer and layers of counter line of Natural landscape creates by altitude variation then overnight at tea house.

Day 8: High Camp to Mardi Himal Base Camp, Return to Badal Danda (4250m/13600ft): 6 - 7 Hours

Today we trek to upper view points early in the mornin to catch the admiring sunrise view over the Himalayas.The trail is narrow and rucky you must be carefree while walking. when we reach the upper view point we will rewards with sesenic sunrise view on top of Mountains. It is great place to witness the mesmerizing view of Annapurna South (7219m) ,Himchuli (6441m), Machhapuchhre (6993m), Annapurna I(8091m), and Mardi Himal (5,587m). We steep back to High camp for Lunch and heading back to Bada Danda. After amazing day overnight at Teahouse.

Day 9: Badal Danda to Siding (1,750m/5,024ft): 6 - 7 Hours

After Breakfast, we continue descending to Siding through beautiful Rhododendron and lush forest. On the way we will stop at forest camp for some break then heading to the Siding. It is the first permanent settlement whose entire journey lies on the top of Seti Khola that is inhabited by a mix of ethnic groups. After long decend over night at Siding.

Day 10: Siding to Pokhara (884m/2900ft): 2 Hours by Drive

After breakfast, we will drive to Phokra through a beautiful village on the side of a trail, a beautiful forest ,amazing view of mountains and green hills. You will reach to Pokhara at the afternoon for Lunch. After lunch spend your your day exploring lake sides and pampering yourself. After beautiful day overnight at Hotel.

Day 11: Kathmandu to Pokhara by drive 7 - 8 Hours

We will travel to Kathmandu.You can rest on your own, catching souvenir shopping and exploring the neighborhood. In the evening Ama Adventure organizes dinner to celebrate the success of our trip and overnight at Kathmandu.

Day 12: Departure

Today is our final day of our trip. The Ama Adventure representative drops you to the airport, wishes you a safe journey and hopes to see you at the next adventure.
