Upper Mustang trekking is popular not only for Tibetan Buddhists but also for exploring the canceled valley of Upper Mustang in Nepal, which is very different from the rest of Nepal. The walled city of Lo-Manthang, known as Upper Mustang, was once part of the Tibetan Kingdom of Gungthang. Among the embellishments of Lomanthang are crabbing monasteries that have been rebuilt and filled with the sound of bald-headed children in robes staying in the ancient Buddhist ways. While Upper Mustang Trekking was officially opened in 1992, it is still listed as a restricted area of Nepal, which requires a special permit. A trip to Lo-Manthang, the amazing medieval walled city of Upper Mustang, is also a lifetime experience. If you want to explore areas that are not often traveled, the Upper Mustang should be at the top of your list.

Itinerary

After arriving a representative of Ama Adventure well -come to the airport. Furthermore check in to the hotel to explore surroundings nearby.

Kathmandu valley sightseeing takes around the world Heritage sites from Swayambhunath that is a popular pilgrimage site for both hindu and buddhist devotees and known as the self created stupa. Tour continues to Pashupatinath temple, famous pilgrimage site for hindu devotees. The day tour ends at the Boudhanath stupa, considered as the largest stupa in South Asia. Back to the hotel and prepared for the trek.

After Breakfast, we travel to Pokhara that is one of most beautiful city in Nepal located Annapurna region. Journey to after Pokhara can be little bumpy but reverie beautiful village, magnificent view and blushing water river will make your travel more wrathful. After long day travel arrived at Pokhara, spend your time exploring city before heading to Himalaya then overnight.

We fly to Jomson Early in the Morning then trek to Kagbeni along the bank of Kalighandaki River Valley. Kagbeni is officially entrance point of Upper Mustang Trekking. The Jomsom is surrounding by Mountains’ and Dry hills on base of Tukuche peaks popular as windy valley and its production of Apple. We began trek bank of River through Eaklebatti before reaching to Kagbeni that is lies on bank of Twins River. This beautiful village has flat wooden roofed house with ancient Tebtian architectures and popular Monastery. The admiring village is inhabitants by Tebtian culture. After windy day, we finally reach at destination for overnight.

After Breakfast, we check permit before heading towards destination then began trek along the bank of Kaligandaki River Valley. At the beginning we hike in the midst powerful rocky and dry path before ascent to the hill. During our trek, we explore its inadequate narrow footway along with Buckwheat and White Washed Thakali settlement. Before reaching to chele we cross another village, suspension bridge on ridge finally reach to chele for overnight.

After Breakfast start ascends comparatively in the harder trail that join to the twins pass call Taklam la pass(3,624m),and Dajori La pass(3,753m) above the sea level. The trail to Syanbochen offers splendid view Tilicho Peak, Yakawa Kang, Damodar Danda and suspense Ramchang Cave. Moreover we descends to the same Village where we walk above the ridge of Village then continue drop to the blushing stream that lead all the way to final destination for overnight.

After Breakfast, began ascend towards the Yamda La pass above (3,850m) from sea level. Meanwhile we walk through isolated Teahouse, high altitude mountains village, stone curves Chorten along the side of trail. We continue our journey cross by isolated forest, barley field to Nye Pass at (4,10m).After reaching to we descends to the Ghami village that is biggest permanent village in lower region.

We start descending on the rocky and slick trail through the Ghamilhola Suspension bridge to the uphill. The trail offers admiring stone Mani walls on the side of the trail that make the entire journey spiritual. Finally, reach the red cliff village Drakmar overnight.

We started heading to Lo -manthang through Ghar Gumba. Popular for ancient Ghar Gumba, which is century’s years old and painted by script stone. According to a local legend that makes a wish at the Ghar Gumba it will turn into true. From Ghar Gumba we continue to lo - manthang overnight.

Lo-Manthang is the walled capital of Mustang that is located on the Northern border to Tibet which is inhabited by Tibetian people. This isolated hidden mountain village was discovered in 1380 as a capital ancient of Upper Mustang. In this Town, we will explore the Royal palace musume. As an addition, we trek or horse ride to the historical place called Sijhajhong cave, Tingkar that is Located in the Northwest of the Lo-Manthang back to the tea house overnight.

Chhoser monastery is located on the Northern border to Tibet which is inhabited by Tibetian people of Mustang. This isolated hidden mountain village was discovered in 1380 as a capital ancient of Upper Mustang.

Today we start our trekking earlier than previous day to avoid the strong wind that’s began basically in the afternoon due to the wind it can be little harder for walk. The journey continue through dry land and amazing red cliff on north side of trek makes your day worthful.In the evening, we can explore surrounding of village then over night in Yara.

After Breakfast we began our trek to Luri gumba. After that's we will admired the live activities of locals, isolated mountain Ghara village and artiest cliff on side of our journey. After beautiful day, finally reach to Yara for overnight.

We began our trek to Tangge basically old Buddism monestery in there. 2-3 tea house at tannge village overnight.

After Breakfast, we are heading towards the chhusang. Before reaching Chhusang we cross the suspension bridge on the ridge finally reaches Chhusang overnight.

We began our trek to Jomsom basically on the same trail that joins Annapurna Circuit Trekking. We will have lunch at Kagbeni then continue the trek to Jomsom on the bank of river Valley then overnight in apple town Jomsom.

We take earlier flight to Pokhara where we fly over the Annapurna Himalayas range. After arriving in Pokhara, we can have lunch then spend day in your own by exploring surrounding areas then over night in Pokhara.

After Breakfast we travel to Kathmandu you can rest of the own last catching souvenir shopping and explore neighborhood. At the evening Ama Adventure organize dinner to celebrate on success of our trip and over night at Kathmandu. Included: All Meals, Accommodations and Transportations

Today is the final day of our trip, Ama Adventure representative drop you at the airport with your safe journey hope to see you on the next adventure.
